Known for his exceptional skill in planning and design, Som Petchsrisom has been a member of the M+P design team since 1986. A Partner, he serves as Vice President of Design, working closely with developers to explore various design options throughout all phases of a project. Committed to providing comprehensive design services, Som’s vast experience includes both residential and commercial developments around the world.
In 2004, Som headed the new design studio spearheaded for our clients in China. Deeply involved in understanding the cultural values that shape a people and their environment, he approaches design challenges from a variety of different perspectives, which include implementing sustainable principles, to shape exceptional environments.
In order to ensure an understanding of the client’s vision during a project’s progression, Som believes in an open and dynamic communication to develop specific design requirements, restrictions and costs. Som has a unique talent for finding creative solutions to functions and aesthetics of architecture, interior design and master planning. A graduate of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, Som also attended the University of Houston where he received his Master of Architecture. Som is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
